Hello my lovelies!! So I originally wrote this post when I started maternity leave. I had big plans to fill my days with blogging until baby arrived, but she had other plans and came 3 weeks early!! So I've been busy adjusting to motherhood. But I'm finally getting round to writing a post on my all time favourite beauty buy! My holy grail Clarasonic!! So the Clarisonic is a rechargeable skin cleansing device claiming to remove up to six times more impurities than using your hands with cleanser and serums. Now unlike other face cleansing devices, the Clarisonic has patented technology that separates it from the rest. It will not rotate or vibrate on your skin, potentially causing more damage, it works with the skins natural elasticity not against it. With over 300 movements every second it helps to gently massage out the oil, dirt and make-up from our skin. Now at around £120 (starting price) I thought another gimmick? But with just about every beauty blogger and you tuber raving about it, I decided to do my research! All reviews were amazing (I'm quite easily sold). After using this little beauty for 1 year I have never looked back! My skin has never felt so clean. You can use any cleanser on this and although I got a mini cleanser with mine I have been using Arbonne Calm Cleanser. If you see from my last post I bought it around June and I use it everyday and I think I've just hit the halfway mark! It lasts forever!! So to show you how amazing it is, I took some pictures of my brush head(the first week I used it) after I had removed my makeup with some good old cleanser and makeup wipes. Apologies in advance, its not pretty...
There are all different kinds of devices and brush heads to suit all skin types including sensitive, delicate, deep pore cleansing and my favourite, cashmere!! They also do an amazing face and body Clarasonic - amazing for removing stubborn fake tan!! They are also waterproof so you can use it in the shower. The prices start from around £120. Although they seem a bit pricey they are 100% worth every penny! I took acne on my chest when I was pregnant and this little beauty cleared it up in a week!
Using makeup wipes and cleansing pads, I thought my skin was clean and makeup free...
My brush head removed makeup from my pores that I couldn't even see, disgusting!
Now that I use my Clarasonic regularly there is no makeup left on my brush head! Clean pores here!!
If you do decide to invest don't be alarmed if you break out the first week of using this. As first of all it has to draw all impurities out!
