Make the most out of your lipstick!

Todays post is all about making the most of your lipsticks and saving some cash! Im all for using products 3/4 different ways to save buying another 4 products. It wastes money and space in my kit. So using one lipstick I'm going to show you a few different ways to wear it. 

The lipstick I'm using is Urban decays 'F-Bomb'. 

So the first look as you can see is simply just lining with a matching liner but slightly over drawing them, this gives you a classic bold red lip. 

Next if we change the liner, we change the whole colour of the lipstick. Here I'm using MAC's 'Nightmoth' liner (any purple will do). Go a little bit thicker when lining here to give us plenty to blend with. As you can see im not too bothered about how the liner inside looks, were going to cover that anyway. Pop your red lipstick over the top and we have a deeper coloured,vampy look.

Look number 3, is an ombre lip. Line your lips with a matching lip liner or one shade darker. Apply your lipstick as normal, then use a very light concealer or foundation  and apply it directly to the centre of your bottom and top lip using your pinky. Press your lips together repeatedly to blend. If you want a more dramatic look use the darker lip liner. 

Next, is all about the matte finish. Matte finishes are the go to look these days. So to save buying another lipstick with a matte finish. Apply your lipstick on as normal then put some loose powder sparingly over your lips using your finger and press your lips together repeatedly to blend. I find that this also makes your lipstick last a lot longer.

So there you have it. A few different looks without having to buy another 3 or 4 lipsticks for your collection using stuff you may already have in your makeup bag. This can be used on any lipstick, it doesn't have to be red.
