Me and my Shadows!!

Hello lovelies!! I was going to do a short post today on some of the individual mac eyeshadows in my kit but Ive also been meaning to do a little post on back to mac as well, so two birds one stone and all that...  This was requested from a lovely follower and as I had to depot some new shadows I thought why not! At first I was going to do a lot more in my kit but by the time I pulled everything out organised, depotted eyeshadows and cut more lipsticks into my palette I pretty much gave up!!

Not a lot of people know about this, I thought everyone did but theres still alot of clients that are shocked when I tell them, but you can recycle your old MAC products! Back 2 MAC is when you take 6 empty or unwanted containers to your nearest counter and trade it for a new lipstick!! Yes a free lipstick of your choice!! We've all had a foundation thats not been matched right that lies in a drawer am I right ladies? A mascara or powder thats ran out? Exactly! So save your empties and get a free lipstick. You can even use the empty makeup wipe packs as they have plastic on them.

 

Now as well as buying your MAC shadows individually you can also buy then in a refill pan which is magnetic (its cheaper) and it sticks straight into the empty MAC palettes with no fuss. But if you have a few eyeshadow and now decide you want to put them in a palette to save space you can depot them all and take the empty containers back to get your free lipstick! You will then have to stick them to the palette though. Ideal if you have quite a few to save u losing one. Great for makeup artists looking to build their kit as it is very expensive! I have 2 palettes one for mattes and one for all my shimmers. I also have two blushers in mine. Now these are very loved and worn out some of the shadows if had for like 2 years- especially my matte palette! So please don't judge! 

(ABC GUM and Rockstar are actually urban decay eyeshadows but I de-potted them to make my life easier and save some room in my kit!) 

You can write de-potting mac eyeshadows into youtube and there are loads of videos on how to do it. I personally use my straighteners to melt the glue but you'll know what I mean when you watch it.

Oki so first up is my matte palette! This is my baby I use it in all makeovers...

Now the shimmers and two random blushers ...

From left to right - 

White Frost, Shroom, Rice Paper, Naked Lunch, All That Glitters and the last one I cant remember the name sorry! 

Antiqued, Satin Taupe, Woodwinked, and im not sure on this one I think it may be Sable, Cranberry and Rockstar

Beautiful Iris, Satellite Dreams, Sketch

Sushi Flower, Moons Reflection, Deep Truth

And the two blushers are Coppertone and I think Dolly Mix 

My matte palette has an insert in it the girl told me it was better but I then realised that you can get more eyeshadows in the palette without the insert so save yourself the money!!
